My journey began 7 years ago out of the curiosity I had for a yoga class at my local gym. I didn’t know then that yoga would not only become my passion, but a way for me to connect with my deeper self. I received my 200hr training at One Down Dog in 2017 and have been teaching all over Los Angeles. I also completed an Ayurveda Skills for Living Course in 2018 and am currently enrolled in a meditation training program. Yoga and its other practices, is not about perfection, it is the journey toward your inner-self each time you show up on the mat. With every breath and every pose, together we connect a little more with who we are and where we can go.
Adam is a life long athlete who was introduced to the practice of yoga in 2007. He found that yoga was the perfect prescription for the tight shoulders and hamstrings developed in the gym. Practicing Vinyasa, Power, and Ashtanga yoga, Adam learned that yoga can build strength, burn fat, and increase flexibility while simultaneously relieving stress and calming the mind. Something that many gym routines are lacking. Adam tries to create sequences to benefit every level of yoga student. His clients report gaining increased control of: breathe, balance, and calmness of the mind. Adam has studied at YogaWorks under Malachi Grieves Melville, and Alex Crow, in the styles of vinyasa and hatha yoga.

Daria feels infinitely grateful to be doing this work and believes it’s the most beautiful experience to help another human being live a more joyful and fulfilling life..
Jenny began practicing yoga several years ago largely because she craved a form of exercise that didn’t involve wearing sneakers or going to a gym. To her pleasant surprise, yoga brought her something much deeper than mere physical fitness: a much needed sense of peace and clarity while working a stressful corporate job. Inspired to share the power of the practice with others, Jenny pursued her 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Yandara Institute in Baja California. Since becoming certified last summer, she has taught vinyasa yoga to friends, family, and the wonderful students at Heal One World. Jenny’s asana practice has also led her to pursue other spiritual avenues such as meditation and yogic philosophy. Given the positive impact these practices have had on her own life, she is passionate about sharing them with others in hopes of improving the psychological, physical, and spiritual health of her community.
Patricia first discovered yoga in 2002, while living in Chicago. After neck surgery from a cliff jumping accident, she was left looking for a gentler, low impact way for healing the mind and body. With constant traveling for work, she was lacking time for much needed meditation. She loves how yoga and Tai Chi have allowed her to share a moving meditation that energizes the body and calms the mind. Her practice combines soulful music and meditation with Baptiste-influenced Power Vinyasa sequences that are fun, challenging, and can accommodate all levels. She enjoys assisting with poses, incorporating Qigong breath exercises, and sometimes includes mini-massage, and aromatherapy in her classes. Patricia received her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification at Solfire Yoga Studio in Sacramento from Diana Vitantonio in 2014. Patricia has also studied Medical Qigong with Dr. Roger Jahnke at Esalen and received her Healer Within Practice Leader Certificate through The Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi in 2015. She was so enamored by the healing effects of this ancient practice that she went back to receive her Tai Chi Easy Practice Leader Certificate from the IIQTC in 2016 with Jessica Kolbe and acupuncturist Dr. Gayl Hubatch. She is also currently studying with Dr. Roger Jahnke for another 200 hour Medical Qigong Certification to unlock more ways to help the mind and body heal itself.
Caitlin is an intuitive double pisces – her way of experiencing and seeing the world is through a deep empathy, sensitivity and natural intuitive ability. Drawn to the arts all her life, she has expressed herself creatively and traveled the world through the mediums of acting for stage and camera, singing, poetry, and spoken world. It is no surprise that she finds herself in this new chapter, drawn to the healing arts. Always fascinated by the metaphysical healing modalities, Reiki called her in a clear and specific way. Upon listening, synchronicities unfolded that guided her quickly to her Reiki Master, whom she received Reiki I & II attunements honoring the Usui/Holy Fire System. In addition to volunteering at Heal One World, she has her own private practice, Pisces Intuition, and participates in various pro bono community events such as the Better Angels Festival. It brings her joy sharing her gifts and connecting with people in new ways through the kind, humble, and universal Reiki energy.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been sensitive. As we all are. A turning point happened in my life where I stepped onto my spiritual path, the goal being to understand and live through my sensitivity, as opposed to finding ways to suppress it. After a few years of intense spiritual exploration and growth, I kept getting the message to do Yoga. Knowing nothing beyond a handful of attempted classes about 5 years prior, I threw myself into it headfirst. I understood the message now, what was all of my inner work worth if I was not embodying it? Yoga helped me to embody my humanity with my spirituality. I completed a deep immersion Yoga Teacher Training in the beautiful country of Costa Rica, focusing on Hatha and Tantric practices while also working with the Shamanic Arts and the Energetic field. There was also intense focus on alignment and anatomy to be able to build the strong foundation needed for a safe and deeper practice. I love to work within the Hatha and Tantric practices in which I was trained, moving slowly and intentionally through sequences to feel and reconnect to the body, the beautiful vehicle we get to drive. It’s an incredible radar system, and it never lies to us. When we drop in, feel, and listen, we get so much more than just health, strength, and flexibility. We tune in to our subtle energy system and the energy systems around us, we listen to our innate Inner Teacher, and we understand that there is no separation between the mind, body, and spirit. I also like to laugh, because, well, it’s some of the best medicine. Namaste!
